At Habulous everything is hand-produced, not mass-produced. Each ceramic piece that leaves our studio is crafted with care, passion, and individuality. And while no two items are ever quite the same, some don’t turn out exactly how we planned — but that doesn’t mean they’re not still beautiful or useful.

That’s where you come in.

This September, we're opening our studio doors for a special Seconds and Samples Sale, and it’s the perfect opportunity to pick up a unique, sustainable bargain while supporting local craft.

What Are ‘Seconds’?

All our pottery is handmade, which means natural variations are part of the charm. But occasionally, pieces emerge from the kiln looking a little too different from the rest of their collection. These are what we call seconds — functional and beautiful, but with small quirks that set them apart.

Some common reasons a piece becomes a second:

• Incorrect size
• Glaze inconsistencies
• Variations in colour
• Doesn’t meet our quality standards
• Not suitable for its intended use, but has others

Rather than letting these characterful creations go to waste, we offer them to you at reduced prices.

What Are ‘Samples’?

Our sample pieces are one-off designs from our creative process — think test runs, experimental shapes or colourways that never made it to full production. Unlike seconds, samples are often free from flaws; they're simply one-of-a-kind pieces you won’t find anywhere else.
