White and Blue Stripe Handmade Stoneware Large Vase

Description

Designed for big bouquets, this handmade blue striped stoneware vase is a beautiful way to display fresh flowers, leafy branches or dried grasses. Wheel-thrown in our Dartmoor studio using flecked stoneware clay, each vase is finished in our satin white glaze before the blue stripes are painted by hand.

The flecked clay shows through the satin white glaze, adding depth and texture beneath every brushstroke. Painted freehand, the blue stripes naturally vary from vase to vase, making each one slightly different from the last. With an 800ml capacity, it's ideal for generous bouquets, tall grasses and leafy branches, while looking equally at home on a dining table, mantelpiece or windowsill.

Handmade in the UK

Thrown, glazed and painted by hand in our Dartmoor studio, every vase is made in small batches using traditional pottery techniques. Taking time over each stage allows the individual details of the clay, glaze and brushwork to remain visible, celebrating the beauty of handmade pottery.

Thoughtfully Designed

Glazed inside and out, this vase is ready for everything from freshly cut flowers to dried arrangements. Its taller shape gives longer stems plenty of room, while the wide body creates a generous display without feeling bulky.

PLEASE NOTE: 
•        Intentionally handmade with a flecked stoneware clay. 
•        Stripes are hand-painted, making every piece one-of-a-kind. 
•        In some areas, often towards the base, the stripe may show in a much stronger colour. 
•        As each piece is truly handmade and wheel-thrown, shapes may vary slightly - all measurements are approximate.

Yes, the vase is glazed inside and out, making it perfect for water as well as dried flowers and seasonal branches.

What size arrangements does it hold?
The generous 800ml capacity is ideal for fuller bouquets, taller stems and larger seasonal displays.

Will the stripes match the photographs exactly?
The stripes are painted freehand, so their placement and intensity will vary slightly from vase to vase. That's part of what makes each piece handmade.
