Handmade in the UK

Every mug is wheel-thrown by hand in our Dartmoor studio using flecked stoneware clay before being glazed and painted in small batches. This slower approach to making allows the natural variations in colour, shape and brushwork to shine through, giving every mug its own character.

Thoughtfully Designed

The warm blush satin glaze is paired with hand-painted pink stripes to create a soft tonal finish that's timeless and easy to live with. Crafted from durable stoneware with a comfortable handle and generous 350ml capacity, it's designed to be enjoyed every day, whether you're starting the morning with coffee or winding down with a cup of tea.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Intentionally handmade with a flecked stoneware clay.
  • Stripes are hand-painted, making every piece one-of-a-kind.
  • In some areas, often towards the base, the stripe may show in a much stronger colour.
  • As each piece is truly handmade and wheel-thrown, shapes may vary slightly - all measurements are approximate.

As every mug is wheel-thrown and hand-painted by hand, slight variations in shape, stripe placement and colour depth are part of the making process and reflect the individuality of each piece. To keep your handmade stoneware looking its best, we recommend washing it gently with warm, soapy water and avoiding sudden changes in temperature. 

FAQs

Will my mug look exactly like the one pictured?
Every mug is wheel-thrown, glazed and hand-painted individually, so you'll notice subtle differences in shape, stripe placement and colour. These natural variations are part of the handmade process and make every piece one of a kind.

Why are some of the stripes darker than others?
The stripe colour may appear stronger in places, particularly towards the base, as a natural result of the hand glazing process. This is an intentional feature of the design.

Is it comfortable to hold?
Designed with everyday use in mind, the mug has a balanced weight and a naturally shaped handle that sits comfortably in your hand, whether you're enjoying coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
