They are made from an attractively flecked British stoneware clay which is left unglazed on the exterior of the bowl - the texture feels great in your hands. Inside, the bowls are glazed with a satin glaze in muted tones; off-white, light yellow, pale pink, mint green, or be a little bolder with the cornflower blue.
