Handmade in the UK

Each stoneware egg cup is wheel-thrown by hand in our Dartmoor studio using traditional pottery techniques. Made in small batches from flecked stoneware clay, every piece is glazed and painted by hand, meaning no two are ever exactly alike. It's a celebration of slow craft, thoughtful design and the beauty of everyday ceramics.

Thoughtfully Designed

Made from durable stoneware clay, this egg cup is designed to be enjoyed every day. The satin white glaze has a soft off-white finish, while the hand-painted blue-grey stripes add gentle movement and character. Its snug shape holds your egg securely, whether you like it soft-boiled or hard-boiled.

  • Intentionally handmade with a flecked stoneware clay.
  • Stripes are hand-painted, making every piece one-of-a-kind.
  • In some areas, often towards the base, the stripe may show in a much stronger colour.
  • As each piece is truly handmade and wheel-thrown, shapes may vary slightly - all measurements are approximate.

FAQs

Is every egg cup the same? No, each egg cup is wheel-thrown, glazed and hand-painted individually, so each one has its own subtle variations in shape, stripe placement and finish.

Why are some of the stripes darker than others? The stripe colour may appear stronger towards the base as a natural result of the hand glazing process. This is an intentional part of the design.
