Description

Our Ocean Adjustable Rings feature handmade ceramic pieces in rich blue and teal tones, each finished with a fine border of real gold lustre. Made in our Dartmoor studio, every ring has its own combination of colour, pattern and finish.

Choose from a small or large ceramic piece, then adjust the open band to find a comfortable fit. The smaller design measures approximately 1.5cm across, while the larger is approximately 2cm.

Each ring is part of our Elements Collection, making it easy to pair with coordinating Ocean earrings and pendants.

Handmade in Dartmoor

Each ceramic piece is shaped and finished by hand in our Dartmoor studio. The Ocean Range brings together blue and turquoise tones with subtle changes in colour and pattern, giving every ring its own character.

A fine border of real gold lustre follows the edge of the ceramic, adding a warm detail around the cooler colours. The lustre is applied by hand, so the gold border may vary slightly from one piece to another.

No two rings will have exactly the same arrangement of colour or pattern. That's part of what makes these pieces feel like handmade jewellery rather than something produced to look identical every time.

Small or Large

The small ceramic piece measures approximately 1.5cm across, while the large measures approximately 2cm. Both sit on an adjustable open band, so you can alter the size to suit your finger.

The ring can be widened to approximately a UK size P or closed down to approximately a UK size L. When the band is widened, a small gap becomes visible between the end of the band and the ceramic piece. This is part of the adjustable design and allows the ring to be changed to fit.

Please Note

  • Each ceramic piece is individually handmade, so variations in colour, pattern, texture and finish are to be expected.
  • The blue and turquoise colours will vary between rings.
  • Real gold lustre is applied by hand, so the gold border may have subtle variations.
  • The ring band is adjustable and can be widened or closed to alter the fit.
  • When the ring is widened, a gap will be visible between the end of the band and the ceramic piece.

Care

Store your ring somewhere dry when you're not wearing it and avoid water, perfume and harsh chemicals. Gently wipe the ceramic with a soft cloth when needed. Take care when adjusting the band and avoid repeatedly opening and closing it more than necessary. Overtime friction (hands in pockets!) will slowly remove the gold lustre, giving your ring its own unique story.

FAQs

What size are the Ocean Adjustable Rings?

The adjustable band can be widened to approximately a UK size P or closed to approximately a UK size L. This allows you to alter the fit rather than choosing a fixed ring size.

What is the difference between the small and large Ocean rings?

The small ring has a ceramic piece measuring approximately 1.5cm in diameter, while the large measures approximately 2cm. The same adjustable design is used for both sizes.

Why is there a gap when I open the ring?

The band is designed with an open, adjustable shape. When you widen it, a gap will naturally appear between the end of the band and the ceramic piece. This is normal and allows the ring to be adjusted to fit different fingers.
