Description

Small enough to sit in the palm of your hand, this handmade white and blue striped stoneware planter is perfect for mini cacti, succulent cuttings and young propagation plants. Wheel-thrown in our Dartmoor studio using flecked stoneware clay, it's finished in our satin white glaze with softly hand-painted blue stripes.

Whether it's brightening a windowsill, adding a little greenery to your desk or bringing life to a shelf, this miniature planter is an easy way to display your favourite little plants. It also makes a thoughtful thank you, birthday gift or a little treat for yourself. Display it on its own or group two or three together to create a collection that's full of handmade charm.

Handmade in the UK

Every planter is wheel-thrown by hand in our Dartmoor studio using flecked stoneware clay before being finished in our satin white glaze and decorated with hand-painted blue stripes. Working in small batches means the natural movement of the brush and the texture of the clay remain part of every finished piece.

Thoughtfully Designed

This planter is designed to hold your plant in its plastic grow pot, making it easy to swap plants whenever you fancy a change. The simple shape works beautifully with everything from tiny succulents to miniature cacti, bringing a little greenery to even the smallest spaces.

  • Intentionally handmade with a flecked stoneware clay
  • Stripes are hand-painted, making every piece one-of-a-kind
  • As each piece is truly handmade and wheel-thrown, shapes may vary slightly, all measurements are approximate
  • Our pots are not glazed inside - we recommend keeping your plant in its plastic grow pot rather than potting directly into the planter

Fitting Your Plant

  • If your inner plastic pot is too tall, you can trim the top so it fits perfectly. Please see video for a quick how-to.

Care

Our planters are not glazed inside, so we recommend keeping your plant in its plastic grow pot rather than potting directly into the planter. As every piece is made by hand, slight variations in shape, glaze and stripe placement are all part of the making process.

No. It's designed to be used with your plant in its plastic grow pot.

What size grow pot will fit?
This planter is designed for miniature plants and smaller nursery pots. We recommend checking the measurements above before choosing your plant.

Can I use it outdoors?
It's designed primarily for indoor use, making it ideal for windowsills, shelves, desks and other small spaces around the home.

Will my planter look exactly like the photographs?
Each planter is individually wheel-thrown and hand-painted, so you'll notice slight differences in the stripes, glaze and shape that make every piece one of a kind.
